Combining a dual preselector and band pass filtering with the power of a Sof ware Defined Radio (SDR), advanced Reciprocal Mixing Dynamic Range (RMDR) over 100 dB is achieved for both independent receivers. The IC-7610 can pick out the faintest signals in the presence of stronger, adjacent signals, delivering the ultimate advantage for DXers and contesters—with rich rewards for casual operators. It covers 160 through 6M with 100 watts, featuring a remarkable seven-inch high-resolution color touchscreen, intuitive controls, real-time dual spectrum scope, waterfall and audio scope displays, Quick Split and Dual Watch, remote control LAN port, Receive IN and OUT, clean transmit, general coverage 30 kHz-60 MHz, and more. The IC-7610 can take your station to the next level. Other features include: • DIGI-SEL Preselector, Digital IF Filters, and Twin Band Pass Tuning • Superior audio with a large internally enclosed speaker • Custom VCXO driven master clock for ultra-low phase noise • External monitor DVI-D port, I/Q signal output port, and 10 MHz Reference input • Dual port USB: internal audio digital mode and rig control interface • Optional SD card slot for saving user profiles, memory keyer, and voice files • Simplified remote operation with optional RS-BA1 Remote Control Sof ware • Independent second receiver tuning with optional RC-28 USB Encoder • Built-in automatic antenna tuner • Long list of CW, receiver, transmitter, and operational benefits ICO-IC-7610 IC-7610 HF/50 MHz Transceiver.................................. It features an all-new innovative shack style consisting of a remote control head and separate RF deck, connected with a commercially available control (LAN) cable (Cat5e or higher). This concept increases the flexibility of your station installation, making more space available on the desktop by placing the RF deck in an area closer to the antenna feedpoint. With a LAN connection, the IC-7760's control console can be moved anywhere in the house and operated not only from the shack but also from the living room, etc., providing a quiet shack environment away from the noise of the fan used to dissipate the heat generated by the RF deck. In addition to the direct connect feature, this allows you to utilize your home network to make any tabletop your shack—with no PC required. Here are just some of the IC-7760's long list of ham-friendly features: • Independent MAIN/SUB receivers, from the antenna to the speaker, so that one receiver section has no ef ect on the other for simultaneous reception of two signals in dif erent bands/modes with identical performance • Advanced RF Direct Sampling System • DIGI-SEL (Digital Pre-Selector) and preamp for ef ective rejection of strong out-of-band signals, such as from broadcasting stations or multi-multi operation • Multiple separated HF band-pass filters for attenuating out-of-band interference signals in the RF stage and preventing overflow at the A/D converter • 200W output 100% duty cycle • DPD (Digital Pre-Distortion) technology that corrects non-linear distortion at the final amplifier by applying inverse distortion in advance • 450W-class 65 V LDMOS-FET in the PA section, combined with a large heat sink and ef ective cooling system achieve 200W* full power, full duty cycle operation (*200W and one-hour continuous transmission with 100VAC input (at ambient temp. 25 °C) • Built-in automatic tuner • Main (7" wide )and sub (2.4" wide) dual displays • Dual Spectrum Scope and waterfall • Whether from a remote part of your home QTH or at a remote location somewhere around the world, RS-BA1 Version 2 sof ware enables you to operate your IC-7760 • Audio Scope makes it easy to monitor signal characteristics such as microphone compressor level, filter width, and notch filter • Dual speakers • Automatic contest serial numbering • SD card slot • I/Q signal output • DVI-D connector on the remote console outputs digital signals to an external display • The IC-7760 comes with Control Head with 15VDC 3A AC adapter, RF Deck and AC power cable (90-264VAC), Ethernet cable, desktop stand, and plugs Enter "IC-7760" at DXEngineering.com for many more details. They are made from a high strength but lightweight impact-resistant black polymer. They serve as handles at the front and are flared outward to retain normal access to the controls. Their curved shape at the back panel makes it easier to slip the rig into a backpack. They feature the appropriate cutouts for ventilation and connections. Specialized contours facilitate easy hook and loop strap mounting of an automatic antenna tuner or other accessory. Kit includes four M4 thumbscrews and four M4 hex socket head screws with hex wrench so attachments can be temporary or long-term. For added protection, eight user-installed rubber bumpers are included. See page 10 for FT-710 and page 12 for FT-891/857/857D side rails.
