When power from your transceiver or station power supply is turned of , it automatically disconnects the antenna from your station and grounds the antenna feedline, reducing the chance of station damage from static-discharge, surges and lightning pulse ef ects. You’ll never again have to worry about remembering to unplug the system. Further safeguards are provided via a gas discharge tube on the antenna coax input which protects the radio from lightning pulse damage while operating. The relays have diode protected coils to eliminate reverse spikes.
