The kit can be moved from one compatible DX Engineering antenna to another, making it a valuable tool for multi- antenna arrays. This kit works with many of DX Engineering’s Vertical Antennas and is an excellent complement to its Heavy-Duty Pivot Base. Features include automatic friction brake for consistent grip; automatic hold of antenna position; handle that won’t spin under load; 2.5" diameter drum hub; 5.1:1 gear ratio; zinc Tuf plate finish; and stainless steel hardware. Rated at 1,500 lbs., the winch has a minimum operating load of 75 lbs. The winch strap (2" W x 15' L) with hook and loop is manufactured from low-stretch polyester webbing with 4,000 lb. break strength. Precision-cut from 3/16" 304 stainless steel, the Tilt Base is virtually indestructible and conveniently mounts to the same mast that you use for the antenna and radial plate. The Tilt Base is great for installations that need to accommodate CC&R, or for taking down antenna during severe weather.
