Most Centerforce Performance clutch discs have a carbon-composite organic friction material for longevity and drivability, as well as positive engagement and excellent heat capacity. These discs are designed to withstand high-horsepower engines but are priced for the everyday driver. Centerforce II pressure plates provide 60% more holding capacity than stock, so they’re recommended for street and strip use on mildly modifi ed vehicles; plus 4WD vehicles, commercial, heavy-duty towing, and off-road applications. Dual Friction clutch sets generate up to a 90% increase in holding capacity over stock and are designed for use with engines producing high horsepower and big torque outputs, so they’re perfect for street and strip vehicles.
