Rods are fi nal-machined to precise tolerances and fi tted with bronze bushings for fl oating pins (unless noted), cap alignment sleeves, and 7/16" ARP 8740 12-point cap screws. The rods are forged from 5140 steel, are up to 50% stronger than stock connecting rods, and are bushed for fl oating pins (except as noted). Each forging is X-rayed, sonic tested, and magnafl uxed, and the rods are shot peened to stress relieve their surfaces.
