Aeromotive Brushless Pump Fuel Cells Whether it’s drifting, autocross, or a trip to the drag strip, you can rely on Aeromotive’s Brushless Pump Fuel Cells to deliver a steady fl ow of fuel in the heat of competition. They’re available with four in-tank fuel pump options: the legendary A1000, the Eliminator, or the massive 3.5 or 5.0 GPM, all with brushless motors and integrated True Variable Speed (TVS) controllers for the ultimate in fuel management. Each internally baffl ed fuel cell includes a pre-pump fuel fi lter, locking fi ller cap, a pair of -8 AN rollover valves, an -8 AN return, -10 AN outlet, and a 0-90 ohm sender (unless noted). With all those features, it’s no surprise they’re factory equipment in the Chevrolet COPO Camaro, Ford Cobra Jet Mustang, and the Mopar Drag Pak Challenger. Available in 6-, 15- and 20-gallon sizes. For more information, see the Aeromotive Brushless Series Fuel Pumps above or visit SummitRacing.com. Aeromotive Brushless Series Fuel Pumps The future of fuel delivery is here! Aeromotive Brushless Series fuel pumps draw less current, maintain consistent fl ow at higher pressures, and boast longer service life in E85 and methanol applications. They’re available with two distinct built-in controllers: The Standard version provides continuous full-speed operation. The True Variable Speed (TVS) pump offers variable pump speed control through a 0-5 volt TPS or similar input signal, which decreases pump noise and fuel recycling, while keeping fuel cooler on longer drives. The Brushless A1000 and Eliminator pumps feature a dependable roller vane design built for up to 65 psi of sustained pressure. Brushless 3.5 and 5.0 GPM spur gear pumps are engineered for unmatched performance and reliability under the harshest conditions, delivering sustained pressures to 90 psi and intermittent pressures up to 150 psi. In-Tank TVS Fuel Pumps These in-tank pumps include a pickup tube with an integrated 100-micron fi lter. They require a fl at surface of at least 4.5" in diameter with a 3.5" mounting hole. Universal pumps adjust for tanks 10" to 16" deep (minimum vertical install height of 9.75".) Fixed pumps are intended for pump replacement or upgrade to existing Aeromotive fuel pumps mounted on fuel cells. All pumps include a -10 AN O-ring outlet. Horizontal mount only. A quality inlet fi lter no fi ner than 100-micron (like AEI-12304 or AEI-12302) is required to prevent pump damage. Round pumps include stainless T-bolt mounting clamps. Signature pumps have the mounting feet formed into the pump housing. All pumps have -12 AN inlet/-10 AN outlet O-ring ports, except A1000 with -10 AN inlet/outlet O-ring ports. Use this chart to help you select the right Aeromotive fuel pump for your setup. Ratings indicate maximum supported horsepower. EFI Applications: Naturally aspirated horsepower ratings are based on 58 psi of fuel pressure; forced induction presumes 43 psi of fuel pressure with up to 32 psi of boost (58 psi plus up to 32 psi of boost on spur gear pumps) and a 1:1 reference regulator. Carbureted Applications: Naturally aspirated horsepower ratings are based on 10 psi of fuel pressure; forced induction presumes a maximum of 35 psi of boost using a 1:1 reference regulator.
