MOR-20406 Melling Shark Tooth Oil Pumps for Small Chevy These high-volume pumps provide a significant reduction in torque ripple—a pressure pulsation that can cause distributor drive gear wear and spark scatter. Each cast iron pump is phosphate coated for improved corrosion resistance and comes equipped with asymmetrical billet steel helical gears for improved efficiency. The unique design features idler shafts that extend into the CNC-machined cover for maximum support and improved distributor performance at high rpm. They have a screw-in relief spring plug and a 3/4" inlet that accepts press-fit or bolt-on pickups.
