Summit Racing had a simple goal in mind: take a 6.0L LS block, stroke it to 408 cubic inches, fi ll it full of off-the-shelf performance parts, and top it with a pair of turbos to see if they could crack the magical 1,000 rear wheel horsepower benchmark. Handling the breathing on the impressive mill was a pair of straight-from-the-box Trick Flow GenX 220 heads with features like bowl-blended, CNC-profi led chambers, Fast As Cast ports, and top shelf valvetrain hardware.
