The combustion chamber and valve layout move the intake valves away from the cylinder walls to reduce valve shrouding, signifi cantly improving fl ow at higher lift. Shallow 11° intake/13° exhaust valve angles improve piston-to-valve clearance for high lift cams and reduce chamber volume for improved compression and effi ciency. High velocity runners are optimized on the fl ow bench and dyno proven to outperform the competition on hydraulic roller engines. Premium materials and components—along with world-class CNC processes— guarantee uncompromising quality and durability, dimensional accuracy, and balanced fl ow from port-to-port. Two combustion chamber volume options (most heads) allows you to tailor your compression ratios. Machined castings increase strength and have a billet-like appearance. The heavy-duty HD versions of the 11R heads have Manley Severe Duty stainless steel intake and exhaust valves to handle the additional stress of power adders. The HD heads are available with your choice of 205cc or 227cc intake runners. Twisted Wedge 11R 170 and 190 heads with CNC Street Ported runners are great entry-level CNC heads. They have a standard resolution surface fi nish for signifi cant performance gains. Choose Twisted Wedge 11R 190, 205, or 227 heads with CNC Competition Ported runners with a premium high-resolution fi nish for ultimate performance. Twisted Wedge 11R heads are compatible with stock pistons with lower lift cams and all Twisted Wedge specifi c pistons with cams up to .600" lift.
