Part of this process included eliminating the water crossover, but bosses have been incorporated on the intake flange to allow external plumbing of a coolant crossover and thermostat, if desired. Additional bosses have also been added to the runners to accommodate fuel injection or multi-stage nitrous injection. The R-Series A460 tunnel ram excels in large cubic inch, high-RPM applications such as tractor pulling and drag racing. The available top covers mount single or dual Holley 4500 Series Dominator-style carbs. Overall height to the top of carburetor mounting pad is 10.480" with the dual carb top and 13.100" with the single carb top.
